Stack you'll work with
Anywhere in Canada works for the day-to-day. Quebec is preferred for the simpler tax and contracting setup, and because most of our enterprise clients are Quebec-based. Outside Canada we can't currently structure a permanent contract, but contractors with their own corporation are open to discuss.
Yes — we're flexible. Some architects start as contractors for a 3 to 6 month engagement and convert to permanent once we're both confident it's a fit. Others come in directly as permanent. Tell us what you'd prefer; we'll structure around it.
Roughly 60% deep architecture work (design, reviews, deep-dive on engagements), 25% client-facing time (advisory calls, workshops, pre-sales), and 15% internal (mentoring, hiring, contributing to our methodology). No mandatory standups, no theater meetings — meetings happen when they create value, not on a schedule.
Significant. As a senior architect you're expected to be in front of clients — technical discovery, architecture workshops, executive presentations, and pre-sales conversations. If you prefer pure heads-down architecture with no client exposure, this isn't the right fit. If you like sitting across from a VP of Digital and defending an architecture, you'll thrive here.
A spread. Some are on Sitecore XM Cloud and shipping headless with Content SDK. Some are on Sitecore XP / XM 10.x and weighing the migration to XM Cloud or composable. A few legacy installations are on 9.x and need modernization. You'll see all of it — and you'll lead the architecture decisions on which path is right for which client.
Yes — this is one of the things we do best. Two of our team are 2x Sitecore Technology MVPs. We sponsor SUGCON travel and prep, set aside time for blog posts and OSS contributions, and help structure your application. If you want the credential, we'll get you there.
