The real cost isn’t the hours; it’s managing ambiguity with clarity, standards, and the right people in the passenger seat.
Being an entrepreneur is demanding.
Being a parent is demanding.
Being an athlete is demanding.
Being different is demanding.
All of these, in their own way, share one thing: uncertainty.
You don’t always know how, what, or when.
But you do know why.
And that’s what keeps you moving.
People often say entrepreneurship feels lonely. I think loneliness is often an outcome of how you manage uncertainty — or more precisely, with whom you manage it. The best way to balance the unknown is to surround yourself with people who understand your why.
I’ve been lucky to be surrounded by great people throughout my career — mentors, colleagues, and friends who’ve shaped how I think, build, and lead. Those relationships still echo through my work today… and maybe, with this post, new ones will too.
At Sengo, we’re building amazing things. Every day, the conversations we have remind me why I love what I do — and I’m grateful to be in the driver’s seat.
One question keeps coming back to me:
“How is your agency different from the others?”
To me, an agency reflects who’s driving it — the vision, standards, experience, and values behind it. Beyond that, every agency is a website, a logo, and a group of people doing their best work together.
Sengo is different because I am different.
In every role I’ve had, I’ve been given the space to grow — into technical leadership, into management, and into a mindset that values respectful transparency above all else. I’ve learned to give the right direction or ask the right question, even when it challenges the status quo.
That’s what I bring to Sengo.
That’s what we bring to our clients.
And that’s why I’m confident we’ll keep making a positive impact — one project, one conversation at a time.
