Sengo Lab 2 on video: 105 people at Le Relais

On September 24, 2026, the 2nd edition of Sengo Lab, our free premium 5@8 conference, brought together 105 people at Centre de ski Le Relais in Lac-Beauport, 20 minutes from Quebec City. Two short videos, both in French, show the evening from two angles. You will find them at the end of this article.

The recap: the room and the people

The recap shows the crowd, the terrace and the talks. It is the quickest way to see what a Sengo Lab evening looks like if you have never been.

The vlog: getting ready with Jean-Nicolas and Helsa

The vlog follows Jean-Nicolas Gauthier and Helsa Sanschagrin through the day. They set up the signage at Le Relais, put together the gift boxes made with HelloBox and test the booth demo the team built with Lovable. The demo showed attendees which competitors AI answers mention before them, with next steps to improve their site.

While testing the demo, the team noticed a missing feature. They added it with a few prompts, one hour before the event started.

Talks and partners

Three speakers took the stage:

• Jean-Nicolas Gauthier, founder of Sengo, with a talk titled Learning on the way down.
• Amélie Gagné, Operations Manager at Hôtel Terrasse Dufferin, with an Entrepreneur Flash Talk.
• Me Louis-Michel Gauthier, Head of Legal at Athennian, on AI and Quebec's Law 25.
