Enterprise AI Adoption: Sengo Lab Partners With Lovable

Sengo Lab has named Lovable its official partner. The goal is blunt: turn enterprise AI adoption from slide decks into working skills. Here is what the lab is, what changes for Quebec organizations, and how to take part.

Why enterprise AI adoption stalls after the demo

Enterprise AI adoption rarely fails because the technology disappoints. It fails because the demo ends, everyone applauds, and nobody changes how they work on Monday. The gap between seeing AI and using AI stays wide.

Most organizations have now run the pilot. Meanwhile, the people who would benefit most — the analyst, the coordinator, the person maintaining a spreadsheet nobody wants to own — never got hands on the tools. Consequently, the pilot produces a report instead of a habit.

Sengo Lab exists to close that gap. Today it names Lovable its official partner, pairing a Quebec AI community with the platform that turns plain-language prompts into working applications.

What Sengo Lab is

Sengo Lab describes itself as “un labo IA au Québec, loin du hype et près du réel” — an AI lab in Quebec, far from the hype and close to reality. Its stated promise is shorter still: “Démocratiser l’IA, sans hype et sans gatekeeping.”

The format is deliberately unglamorous. The lab runs four free community events a year, built around hands-on experimentation rather than keynotes. Participants try things, break things, and leave with something they can actually repeat.

The first edition sold out within days. Fifty participants attended, representing more than twenty organizations across finance, hospitality, the public sector, and startups. Registration stayed free, and demand outran the room. A second edition is now open.

Lovable joins as official partner

Lovable is a Stockholm-based platform that generates working web applications from natural-language prompts. It has become one of the most widely used tools in the category commonly called “vibe coding.” As official partner of Sengo Lab, it now sits at the centre of the lab’s build sessions.

The pairing is practical rather than ceremonial. Lovable compresses the distance between an idea and something clickable, so a participant with no development background can ship a small tool inside a session. That single experience does more for confidence than an hour of theory.

Sengo separately joined the Lovable Solution Partner Program, which brings formal certification to the delivery side of the business. The lab partnership and the delivery partnership reinforce each other, though they serve different audiences.

From community lab to enterprise AI adoption programs

The community events are the visible half. The other half runs inside organizations, where Sengo Lab delivers private sessions — “conférences en entreprise” — designed around a team’s real workflows instead of generic examples.

The lab states four commitments for that work: real adoption, no hype and no filler, practical skills, and responsible use. Those commitments read as marketing until you notice what they exclude. No vendor pitch. No abstract ethics module detached from the actual tools.

Responsible use gets specific attention, covering confidentiality and bias in the context of the work people genuinely do. For regulated Quebec organizations, that framing matters. Enterprise AI adoption stalls fastest when legal and security teams learn about a tool after the fact.

What an enterprise AI adoption session looks like

A session starts with a problem the team already has. Not a case study, and not a generic prompt-writing exercise — an actual recurring task that costs someone hours every week.

Participants then build. Using Lovable, a small group turns that task into a working interface within the session itself. Because the output runs, the discussion afterward stays concrete: who would use this, what breaks, what it would take to trust it.

Finally, the group looks at the boundary. Some tasks suit a generated app. Others need a real platform, proper access control, or a bilingual content workflow the tool cannot provide. Naming that boundary early is the difference between enterprise AI adoption that compounds and a pile of small unowned tools.

Sessions run in French, and the lab keeps groups small on purpose. Fifty people filled the first edition, and the format works because people build rather than watch.

What the partnership changes for Quebec organizations

Three things change immediately.

  • A lower first step. Free, hands-on, in French, with no purchase attached. Teams can send someone to test the water before anyone writes a business case.
  • A shared reference point. When twenty organizations experiment in the same room, the conversation shifts from vendor claims to what people actually observed.
  • A path from curiosity to delivery. Sengo holds implementation partnerships across nine platforms, so a promising prototype has somewhere durable to land.

That last point deserves emphasis. Rapid AI builds are easy to start and easy to abandon. Therefore, the lab treats operability — hosting, monitoring, ownership — as part of the conversation rather than a problem for later.

The vision: democratizing AI without gatekeeping

The lab’s phrasing — “sans hype et sans gatekeeping” — carries a real argument. Hype inflates expectations until disappointment follows. Gatekeeping restricts AI literacy to specialists, which quietly guarantees slow adoption everywhere else.

Sengo Lab rejects both. It keeps events free so cost never becomes a filter. It runs in French so language never becomes one either. Furthermore, it favours building over presenting, because skills transfer through practice.

The commercial logic follows naturally. Organizations that understand AI make better platform decisions, and better decisions produce better projects. In other words, raising the floor of enterprise AI adoption across Quebec serves everyone, including the firms doing the teaching.

About Sengo, and how to take part

Sengo advises and delivers across the full digital stack from Quebec, fully bilingual in English and French. The team holds two Sitecore Technology MVP awards and includes Coveo alumni. Sengo has delivered enterprise platforms for Cirque du Soleil, iA Financial Group, FTQ, CCQ, and LCI Education, alongside mid-market work for clients such as Emballage L Boucher and HelloBox.

Sengo Lab is the firm’s community initiative, supported by sponsors including Chez Mag, xseek, and Au Poste de Traite. Registration for the second edition is open now at lab.sengo.com.

Teams that want the private version can book a discovery call. We will tell you honestly whether a workshop is the right starting point, or whether you would get more from a structured AI enablement engagement or a look at our AI enablement platforms.
